QUESTION
Hi, I am interested in the remote CCIE bootcamp but the demo is not available.
Also will I have to pay for shipping the lab worbook too or is it included in the final price ?
Any credit option ? or I have to pay in one time ?
Thx.
ANSWER
Sorry about the problems you had accessing the demo for the bootcamp. It was temporarily not working. You can find it now, at:
http://www.hellocomputers.com/org/demo.jsp
You will not have to pay an additional shipping charge for the CCIE R&S; Lab Workbook and HelloComputers does offer financing plans for the enrollment fees. Tell us which month you'd like to attend the Bootcamp and we will e-mail you back with information about the Student Loan program.

QUESTION
Hi,
Quick question: is IS-IS on the LAB after 4th of November? Somewhere I read on the Cisco site that ISO CLNS is removed from the LAB. It could be that I mix up things because I have absolutly no experience with IS-IS, so maybe ISO CLNS and IS-IS maybe different things. In the workbook LAB 4 has some IS-IS.
Thanks,
Jan Huizinga
ANSWER
Hi Jan,
IS-IS is not removed from CCIE R/S lab blueprint. ISO CLNS may not be tested, but IS-IS with level-1, level-2 routers may be tested. I would advise you to study basic IS-IS routing configurations.
Thank you.

QUESTION
Hello,
I am interested in the "CCIE Lab Exam Workbook" with a rack access, but I
must know the conditions, so please unswer my questions:
1) How can I test the time a remote device's answer to the command I
enter? I just wonder if I spend 60% of rack time simply waiting for the
command output.
2) 24 hrs of rack time. Can it be split into several days?
3) What will be the lab topology during practices? Can it be taken from
the workbook?
4) Can I have an expert comments to what I will do during a session or
after?
5) Access to the Support Forum (24/7), but for how many days? Any
question (regarding CCIE stuff) will be answered?
Thanks for answers
Adam
ANSWER
Hi,
Please see my answers inline.
1) How can I test the time a remote device's answer to the command I enter? I just wonder if I spend 60% of rack time simply waiting for the command output.
If you have reliable internet connection, it should not be a problem. You don't have to have broadband internet connection for telnet session, but it is always recommended. To test your connection, you may telnet to one of our terminal server e.g. telnet ts2.hellocomputers.com or ts14.hellocomputers.com and try typing username and see your response. Obviously, you won't be able to login until you schedule and get your rack time, but you can test response time.
2) 24 hrs of rack time. Can it be split into several days?
Yes.
3) What will be the lab topology during practices? Can it be taken from the workbook?
Lab topologies are printed in the workbook. Full scale labs and physical lab layout is also provided on laminated sheets.
4) Can I have an expert comments to what I will do during a session or after?
one of your full scale labs may be graded and commented by us. If you need feedback for all of your work, you may want to post questions on our support forum or join our bootcamp through certificationzone.
5) Access to the Support Forum (24/7), but for how many days? Any question (regarding CCIE stuff) will be answered?
You will have permanent access to support forum. Our community and instructors will try their best (within NDA) to answer your questions on the support forum.
Thank you.
