Rita Puzmanova is an independent networking specialist, writer, course
developer and trainer. Rita has worked independently with two exceptions:
working at ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute in Sophia
Antipolis, a.k.a. French Silicon Valley) and telecommuting at Cisco Gold
Partner systems integrator.
As a former Certified Cisco Systems Instructor (1994-1999), she trained the
European technical audience. She has developed her own internetworking courses
and has also become involved in on-line web education with her own TCP/IP
course offered via University of California, Los Angeles.
Rita holds an MBA from the University of Calgary, an M.Sc. in systems
engineering (Prague), and a Ph.D. in telecommunications (Prague-Madrid).
Rita has published numerous technical articles and several books. The most
recent book is "Routing and Switching: Time of Convergence?", published by
Addison Wesley.
Rita is multilingual, having lived in many countries (all populated continents
but Australia). She is also interested in non-technical issues such as
creative thinking and holds an Edward de Bono certificate on General Thinking
Skills. Rita's passion are her Cats: Landy, Bubu, Dolfi, Shimon, Mateesek,
Koralek, Puk, Vlchek. Besides bringing her pleasure, they've helped her
become knowledgeable in veterinary science and art.
