Sheet Metal Processing
There are three basic operations performed in sheet metal processing. This program outlines the shearing, bending, and drawing of sheet metal and shows each process performed. After the basic shape is obtained, the viewer then sees the squaring, circular cutting, blanking, and piercing steps shown in detail. A 400-ton press is used to show punching and die-pressing operations. Numerically controlled equipment is used in the carefully controlled expanding process explained in this program. Both diagrams and actual photographs are used to explain these steps. Length: 19 minutes. Order #158
