Jim has been an information systems technology consultant since 1985. He holds a Masters degree from Andrews University, as well as 48 credit hours of post graduate work towards his Doctoral degree. He currently holds the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, (MCP+I), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certifications in Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000/2003. He was one of the pioneer achievers earning his FCPA®
Field Certifications in Windows 2000 Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA/FCSA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE/FCSE) and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT/FCT). He is an Accredited HP-COMPAQ Technician (ACT) and a HP-COMPAQ Accredited Platform Integrator (API) and Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) on the Windows 2000/2003 platform, and a Field Certified Hardware Engineer (FCHE). He lives in upstate New York with his wife and has two grown children, and a miniature dachshund named "Chloe." Jim is the General Editor of the Windows 2000/2003 study guides and is the President/CEO of IT Solutions Group of Saratoga, LLC. He is also the National Director of Training for the "boot-camp" programs.
