Richard worked for 18 years at a high-tech Fortune 100 company holding many hardware and software positions before becoming a technical trainer. He holds Early Achiever status after obtaining the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in Windows 2000 certification in March, 2001. He also holds the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, (MCP+I), and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in Windows NT 4 and the CompTIA A+ certifications. He was one of the first to pass the new Field Certified Systems Engineer (FCSE) and Field Certified Systems Administrator (FCSA) exams late in 2002 and immediately started training to the new Field Certification standards early in 2003. He lives in the South with his wife and three children. Richard is a co-author of the Windows 2000/2003 on-line study guides and operates eight training sites in North and South Carolina as a Licensed Training Partner for the "boot-camp" programs.
