What are Certification Zone Study Guides?
The Study Guides published at this website focus on the topics you'll
be tested on when attempting the exams you must pass to earn Cisco's®
CCNA™, CCNP™, and
CCIE™certifications. Certification Zone seeks
out highly skilled, Cisco certified networking professionals to
author each Study Guide.
Each Study Guide generally consists of three parts:
Tutorial - concise, reader friendly overviews that explain the
featured topic's key technical concepts. In the Tutorial section of
the Study Guide, the Author's objective is to advise readers what
they must know about the topic to be able to solve the types of
problems addressing it when taking the actual exams.
Sample Questions - the Author prepares at least 25 carefully
constructed questions designed to assess the reader's knowledge of
the featured topic. These questions are generally a bit more
difficult than those you would encounter on the real-life exam. Don't
worry though, the Study Guides include the correct answers and
complete explanations for each question.
Lab Scenarios - Whenever the Study Guide topic is appropriate, the
Author provides challenging lab scenarios that permit the reader to
apply her/his knowledge of the featured topic to a real world
networking application.
What are Certification Zone Practice Exams?
The current version of Certification Zone offers two different
Practice Exams. One is designed to provide an approximate simulation
of Cisco's® CCNA™ Certification Exam (#640-507). The second
Practice
simulates Cisco's® CCIE™ Written Exam (#350-001). It is the
ZONE's intention to expand this list of Practice Exams in the future.
These Practice Exams contain the same number of questions and address
the same technical topics as their real-life counterparts. They are
computer based tests. You download each Practice Exam from Certification Zone's
server, complete the test and submit your answers on-line. Within a
few seconds of submission, exam-takers receive a scoring summary that
informs them of their final score, identifies their incorrect
answers, and provides them with the answers and explanations for
those questions they answered incorrectly.
