EIGRP, Second Edition

This Study Guide provides an overview of the operation and mechanics of Cisco's proprietary routing protocol EIGRP. EIGRP is often compared with link state routing protocols such as OSPF and ISIS. The main advantage of EIGRP over OSPF and ISIS is its ease of configuration. This ease of configuration, however, does not automatically define EIGRP as the routing protocol of choice, especially for large-scale networks.
