Securing Communications, Part 1

This tutorial deals with the encryption side of the problem. It begins on a conceptual basis, conveying the underlying ideas behind encryption. With the basic knowledge in place, the tutorial turns to how cryptography is functionally applied to a message: for content protection, for authentication and non-repudiation, and for verification of secure passage, using IPSec.
