Security on Cisco Routers

This tutorial presents both the theory behind Securing Cisco Routers for the written portions of the exams (CCIE Security, CCIE Communications & Services, and CCIE Routing & Switching) as well as the practical application for the lab portion of the exam. It covers methods to secure the router and other network devices (e.g. a firewall) which reside behind the router. After covering a wide variety of topics it concludes with the presentation of a security template that can serve as the starting point for most networks.
