OSPF2 Lab: Dealing With Holes in Address Space
by Howard Berkowitz
This lab deals with two very common OSPF domain issues -- growth and divestiture. In the first situation, an enterprise decides to remove corporate servers from area 0.0.0.0 and put them in their own areas. This results in holes in address space that must be dealt with. Subsequently the enterprise sells off a subsidiary, but continues to have a direct relationship with its former unit. This necessitates that further changes be made in the address space.
