Galina Diker Pildush, CCIE #3176, JNCIE #18, is with Juniper Networks, Inc.
She provides training and course development for Juniper Networks, a leading
provider of Internet systems. After earning her M.Sc. in Computer Science, she
worked for nineteen years for major world-wide corporations in the areas of
internetwork design, architecture, network optimization, implementation,
project management, and training.
She has been an academic teacher at York University, teaching Computer
Science, Data Communications, and Computer Network courses. Gaining extensive
technical experience in Internetworking and Cisco-line of products, she
reached her Routing and Switching CCIE certification in 1997. Currently Galina
holds a CCIE in IP. Upon achieving her CCIE, she focused her professional
career on training and mentoring CCIE candidates by becoming the technical
director for Netgun Academy CCIE preparation program at Global Knowledge
Network, Inc. Employing her passion for teaching, Galina has taught a variety
of Cisco courses. Upon joining Juniper Networks, Galina achieved one of the
industry toughest certifications - Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert
(JNCIE). Galina continues to teach at Juniper, enjoying the state of the art
technology. Areas of interest and specialization are ATM, internetwork design
and optimization, Voice-over IP, VPNs, MPLS, and Wireless. Galina's most
recent book publication is "Cisco ATM Solutions", published by Cisco Press.
Besides the demanding professional work, Galina, her husband, their 2 children,
and their dog, who is a Canadian Champion, enjoy spending those rare moments
together in travels, skiing, and cycling.
